Requiring clients to provide bullshit justification for their choice of platform means they’ll take their platform of choice anyways and give us a bullshit justification. I’d prefer it if we simply cut out the bullshit and support their platform choice.
If you continue to make the “Numbers Argument” about how much more expensive one platform is over the other in one (increasingly diminishing) specific dimension (while ignoring all else), by all means do so but let that be a decision that the client makes based on their situation and quit trying to influence it by lackadaisical inaction on your part.
